Description:
Currently, the only option for managing unwanted or incorrectly created opportunities in Partner Center is to mark them as lost. This negatively impacts sales metrics and reporting accuracy. There are scenarios where an opportunity is created by mistake, assigned to the wrong company, or is otherwise not relevant. In these cases, partners need the ability to permanently delete opportunities rather than just marking them as lost.
Benefits:
Maintains the integrity of sales metrics and pipeline reporting
Reduces clutter from irrelevant or mistaken opportunities
Aligns opportunity management with standard CRM practices
Suggested Solution:
Add a "Delete" option to opportunities, visible to users with appropriate permissions
Deletion should require confirmation to prevent accidental removal
Deleted opportunities should be removed from all reports and dashboards
Business Impact:
This feature will help partners maintain accurate sales data and better reflect true pipeline health, improving both reporting and operational workflows.
