Make Custom Fields Required for All Entities, Allow for Re-ordering of Custom Fields

Please add the option to mark Custom Fields as "Required" in Administration > Custom Fields for all entities (Company, Contact, Order, etc.). This would ensure that important data is always collected and would streamline data management processes. Currently, Custom Fields are always optional and there is no way to enforce required input except via individual Order Forms, which is not scalable. Thank you!

We like to utilize the custom fields for lots of different client data like License #, Business Owner Birthdate, Point of Contact Info and more. We have about 40-50 fields in total. We find that this works for us but could be significantly better if you were to add the capability of reordering the fields.

Hi Luboš Čipera, we’ll be exploring these improvements in Q1 2026 as part of our work on customizing field layouts in the CRM. This will include options such as grouping, reordering, and marking certain fields as required.
