Static and Lookup Fields

Forms need a little overhaul to be truly effective for both internal and external support. This includes forms and custom fields for static or default fields, as well as lookup fields. For example, if I am filling out an intake form to submit an order request, a lookup field for a contact labeled "referral source" would be useful. That way, the contact information could be pulled into the form and incorporated into the automation that sends details to the person responsible for the opportunity. Overall, given the platform's extensive functionality, the form creation should be more robust.

Hey Brad Douglas, I totally see how a lookup field would streamline things! The main hurdle we face is that because this form is public-facing, a dynamic lookup could potentially expose sensitive CRM contact data to the open web.
As a secure alternative, if your list of referral sources is relatively stable, we could use a standardized dropdown menu. We can then pair that with an automation that triggers upon submission assigning the opportunity to the correct person based on that selection. It should give you the same automated result.
Would something like this works for what you're hoping to achieve there?
