Email Dropped Notifications

Add a notification when emails get dropped. We've had tons of clients not get emails for weeks/months without noticing they are being dropped.

I agree there needs to be more development and tools for the email side. I had suggested going to 2-step unsubscribe to help avoid accidentally and automatic unsubs. But definitely getting notified of drops and having more clarity about which recipients are dropped (when an email has multiple recipients) would greatly improve the platform experience.

Dan Shier: I like the 2 step idea. The only question would be regarding automatic unsubscribed emails. Sometimes we get clients who don't know they've been unsubscribe, assuming the email host automatically did it. How would the 2FA work there? If there is a step added, instead of automatic that way, then that'd be good.
And yes about the clarity - it doesn't say why it was dropped and if we have multiple emails on the sender list and only 1 out of the 4 are dropped, it doesn't say which email it is.

Calvin Chhor Yes, the idea of adding a 2-step unsubscribe method is that it should prevent accidental or automatic unsubscribes from an email platform by requiring the User to take an active action towards unsubscribing. Right now, any trigger of the opt-out link will immediately unsubscribe the user with or without their knowledge. The 2-step version would require the user to confirm their choice after clicking the link.

Dan Shier exactly - our clients usually are being unsubscribed automatically which they do not consent to. Very frustrating as I think the longest we've seen is about 3 months.
Then client is asking us to check and finding out their emails that we tested before launch, which were getting notified properly, are now randomly dropped without any indication or notification.

Calvin Chhor and with email providers starting to upgrade their filters, this is going to be even harder to combat as some platforms are automatically unsubscribing based on pass/fail with domain validation.
Actually, while I was talking to support about it, they said that we should be adding and validating our email domains in Business App settings to make sure our sites are sending validated emails. This helps to reduce the chances of an email platform from automatically opting out the User. We had a client that had this problem and when we got their domain validated, the issue seemed to stop. It's worth trying that out.

I'm starting to think that we might not see a 2-click unsub option as the industry is starting to require 1-click as the standard. So, instead, we should probably focus on proper domain validation/authentication so that our emails pass and send properly from the get-go. Still, some form of notification for unsubs would be great. OR some way to monitor and see that list.

Could you share the accound ID?

anusha gopalan: It's all random. Not one specific account is having the issue.

Dropped Emails - clarification

Right now, when we have multiple emails being notified and one of them is being dropped, there is no way to tell which email is being dropped. Can we get better/more details on the email history pop-up?
