The voice list for OpenAI GPT Live shows only American accents. European businesses serve callers in German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Bulgarian, Ukrainian, Romanian, Hungarian and many more languages. An American-accented voice speaking German or French mispronounces dates, prices, street and place names and sounds foreign to the caller.
Request:
  • Native voices for the European languages, with a filter by language and accent in the voice list.
  • One voice per language on each voice employee, for example a German voice for German and a French voice for French, with a fallback voice for any other language.
  • Automatic switching: when the caller changes language during a call, for example from German to French, the employee answers in French and switches to the French voice. Either the partner defines the voice per language, or the platform picks a native voice for the detected language automatically.
Impact: one voice employee serves international guests in their own language with natural pronunciation, without a separate employee or phone number per language.
