Official Vendasta MCP (Model Context Protocol

Vendasta should adopt or integrate with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enable smarter, AI-native automations. MCP allows tools and agents to share persistent, structured context across workflows, making Vendasta more extensible and interoperable with external systems. This would empower deeper personalization, memory across tasks, and multi-agent collaboration—ideal for modern local business automation. Vendasta could build a native MCP layer or offer integration points for existing MCP ecosystems, enhancing its developer ecosystem and automation flexibility. This future-proofs the platform, boosts partner value, and positions Vendasta as a leader in intelligent, context-aware business solutions.

Hey Jon, you're speaking our language. The vision of persistent context, multi-agent collaboration, and a more extensible automation layer is exactly the direction the industry is heading, and it aligns closely with how we're thinking about Vendasta's AI future.
Current Focus: Right now, our primary focus in the AI and automation space is building out the core AI Workforce infrastructure. And here's some good news that's directly relevant to your request: an Official Vendasta MCP is on our H2 2026 roadmap. This will serve as a standardized gateway so any external AI agent can securely interact with the Vendasta platform, CRM, and automations. See the screenshot below (bottom left)
While we aren't able to commit to a specific timeline just yet, this is clearly something we're investing in. I've also noted your specific request for deeper MCP integration points as we build this out. Thanks for the thoughtful write-up, Jon!

Does Vendasta already implement? If not, I'd agree this is a good idea. Implement sooner than later.
