Send data in and out of Vendasta with Zapier to make ideal workflows for you and your customers. With Vendasta's new Zapier app, you can connect almost anything to the CRM in Business App (and in Partner Center too).
Automatically bring new contacts into Business App from any outside system via Zapier. Partners can use the new Vendasta Zapier integration on behalf of their business clients to send contacts from any app that works with Zapier into the Business App CRM. For example, if you have a client using Shopify, they'll be able to add new customers to the Business App CRM. Similarly, if a client is using Google Forms to survey customers on their website, they can have respondents automatically added as contacts in Business App.
There's no need to worry about duplicates. If you do already have that email address in your CRM, our Zapier app won’t create a new contact but it will record that the contact downloaded your guide.
Partners can build the Zapier workflow on behalf of their customers, or let SMBs build their own Zapier workflows by giving them the link to access the Vendasta branded Zapier App if it fits your business model.

This is great. Will there be any pre-built automations included in the release? For example, steps to pull new customers' contact data from client crm and upload to Customer Voice to send out review requests?
Jehan Zouak
Malcolm Stone: Alongside the zapier integration, the team is working on automating review requests. Sometime shortly after those releases we plan on making an automation template for zapier -> review request, and other templates could become available later on.

When you create tasks in the CRM, I see there is a way to create a task and even create a time for the task but I don't see where this goes. I've used Hubspot for many years because I can create tasks which include, call, to-do, email, etc. When I click on 'Tasks' Hubspot gives me things in chronological order which includes dates and time among other things. I use that feature because when I open up the tasks I know I have them in the right order based on date and time. For example, I know that I created tasks for Dec 9th with several of them for 9am, another group for 10am, another group for 12:30 pm etc, etc. In Vendasta's CRM I don't see this. Instead it looks very bulky and it's mixed with client projects. I am looking for something that keeps track of new connections and follow up times so I don't over congest my calendar with tasks.

Damien Orozco: Hey Damien, it will currently stamp down the "Due date" on the company/ contact that you have created the task with, where you can sort and go to complete the task. We are working on the sales task table and will open access to it as soon as this week, where you will find all the tasks that you have created in the CRM. Stay tuned!

Gabriel Tsoi: great. So will we be able to add not just the date but also the time of the day we want to follow up on. Example Prospect Name, Prospect Company Name , Dec 20,2023 1:30pm PST; Prospect Name, Prospect Company Name, Dec 20, 2023 3:45pm, etc.? Attached is an image sample of what I am referring too and hope will be possible on the CRM

Damien Orozco: Yes, we will be showing the full date and time on the table soon. You can expect that around mid-Jan 2024.

I am assuming this feature will also be available for our clients in their CRM or is it already available for them in the new Business App Pro?

I am glad duplicates will be prevented. My only question regarding duplicates is sometimes a prospect uses a different email address and it gets added as a new contact on CRM's like Hubspot. With Hubspot you can at least merge them as one. On the other hand with Salesforce, there isn't an easy way to merge duplicates who used a different email. Are we able to consolidate this issue with Vendasta's CRM version? If so, how?
G
Gabriel Tsoi
Damien Orozco: Hey Damien, we are planning to introduce duplicate management features in around Q2 2024, where you would be able to specify the criteria you want to match the contacts on, and specify a merge rule to merge the contacts. Hope this helps!

Gabriel Tsoi: Thanks. I guess the best way to find out is once it's available.

Perfect, this saves the need to redo all my forms. Clients will like this too with their business app CRM.
