AI Credits fuel the work your AI Employees do. Credits are used when a call is answered, or a chat conversation is handled. You’ll be able to see your client’s usage against AI Credits from November 1, 2026 and AI Credits start to apply from January 1, 2027.
Put AI to work, keep costs in check
- Every AI product subscription includes a monthly amount of credits, sized so most accounts never run out. These reset on the 1st of every month.
- Included credits stay with their product, so a record month of Conversations AI usage can't drain the credits keeping Social AI or Reputation AI running.
- Extra credits come as pre-paid packs, shared across every AI product on the account. There's no open meter, and nothing is charged after the fact.
Conversations AI is the first product on Vendasta AI Credits. CRM AI, Social AI and Reputation AI follow later, with timing to be confirmed. Vendasta Vibe stays separate with its own Vibe Credits system.
Turn AI Employee usage into profit
AI is the one part of the platform where cost moves with how much gets used. Credits replace the meter with a set amount of AI work, included up front. Pre-paid credit packs help generate additional revenue when your clients need more usage.
A cost you can quote before you sell.
You know what a subscription includes before the month starts, so you can build AI Credits into a package and price it with confidence.Price in credits, or in the deliverables your clients want.
We'll publish standard conversion rates for voice minutes and chat messages, so you can keep selling the way you do.Every AI product keeps working.
Because included credits stay with their product, a busy month on the voice receptionist can't quietly stop Social AI posting or Reputation AI replying. That means fewer surprises for your clients, and fewer support conversations for your team. This isn't a move to usage-based pricing.
The subscription is unchanged. Credits make AI usage measurable within what you already pay for, so extra capacity is always a pack you choose to buy, never a charge that accrues without notice. When it happens
Conversations AI voice and chat usage isn't measured today. Some of our earlier material described the Conversations AI Premium unlimited calling bonus as running until mid-2026, and that timeline has been replaced by this one.
- November 1, 2026 usage becomes visible. You and your clients can see credit consumption. Nothing is charged, nothing stops, and usage in November and December is never billed later.
- January 1, 2027 credits start to apply.Every account begins the month at its full included amount. New AI work pauses if an account reaches zero, and work already underway always finishes. From this date you can also buy credit packs for additional capacity.
We'll publish included credit amounts for Conversations AI editions, along with the conversion rates behind it, when usage becomes visible.

How to prepare
Nothing to do right now.
Usage isn't measured until November 1.From November 1, check usage on your Conversations AI accounts.
Usage appears on each account in the Business App. To read your whole book at once, portfolio reporting comes as a Premium Report, which is included on every partner plan except Starter.Use December to plan with any client running above typical usage.
Choose a recurring add-on, a top-up as a buffer, or a leaner setup, whichever fits best. Pack options and pricing will be published before credits apply.Questions?
If something here doesn't work for how you run your business, tell us at feedback.vendasta.com or talk to your Vendasta account manager. We're running visibility for two full months before credits apply, so we can act on what you tell us.
FAQs
Timeline and planning
Will anything be charged on November 1?
No. November and December show you usage and nothing else. No work stops, nothing is charged, and usage in those two months is never billed later. Credits start to apply on January 1, 2027.
I've told clients the unlimited calling bonus runs until mid-2026. What should I tell them now?
That timeline has been replaced by the one above. Conversations AI voice and chat usage still isn't metered today, and nothing changes for your clients before January 1, 2027. From November 1 you'll be able to see exactly what each account uses, so you can have a specific conversation rather than a general one. It's worth reviewing any proposal or client conversation where the bonus came up.
One of my clients already uses more than typical. What should I do?
Nothing yet. You can use November and December to plan for your usage. No work stops in those months, and that usage is never charged later. On January 1 the account starts with a full included amount, like everyone else. Use December to agree on a plan with the client, so they have sufficient credits from January.
How AI Credits work
How many credits does a subscription include?
We're finalising the amounts and will publish them here before usage becomes visible on November 1. They're sized to cover typical usage.
When do included credits reset?
Included credits reset on the 1st of every calendar month, irrespective of the date your subscription started. Every account is on the same cycle, so this doesn't follow your invoice date.
What uses credits and what doesn't?
Credits cover the work you bought the product to do. For example:
- An AI voice receptionist answering a call
- An AI chat receptionist handling a chat conversation
Credits aren't used for learning the platform. Asking the AI Support Assistant a question is free.
How do credits convert into voice minutes and chat messages?
A credit buys a fixed amount of AI work, and how far it goes depends on how that work is set up. Think of it like the range on a car. A simple FAQ call on the standard model goes further than a complex call on a premium model, and a larger knowledge base, additional AI capabilities or longer chat prompts may consume credits faster too.
We'll publish conversion rates for voice minutes and chat messages in standard configuration, alongside the included amounts. We will also share guidelines to help you optimize your AI Employee configuration.
Which products use AI Credits?
Conversations AI is the first. Other products like CRM AI, Social AI and Reputation AI move onto credits later, with timing to be confirmed.
Do Vendasta Vibe Credits work with AI Credits?
Vibe runs on its own separate credits. The two never mix in either direction: buying an AI credit pack doesn't add Vibe capacity, and running out of Vibe credits doesn't affect Conversations AI.
Monitoring usage and buying credits
What happens when an account runs out?
From January 1, an alert goes to both you and your client before the account reaches zero. At zero, new AI work pauses, but work already underway always finishes, so a caller mid-conversation with an AI receptionist is never cut off. Buying a credit pack restores capacity, and the account's included credits come back on the 1st.
How much do credit packs cost?
We're finalising credit pack sizes, types, prices and expiry. We'll publish them, along with how purchasing works, before credits apply.
I'm on Starter. How do I see usage across my accounts?
Account-level usage is available on every plan. Open any account in the Business App to see it. The view across your whole book at once comes as a Premium Report, which is included on every partner plan except Starter. We're working on reporting inside the platform, but it won't be ready for this release.
Will I be able to see usage from before November 1?
November 1 is when usage becomes visible as credits consumed. Credit equivalents won't be available for usage before that date.
Client visibility and notifications
Can I control the alerts my clients get?
Alerts are intended to reach you as well as your client, so a partner managing credits on a client's behalf stays informed either way. We'll confirm the controls before credits apply.
Can I hide the credits page from my clients?
Not in this release. Usage is visible on the account, so nobody is caught out by it. If that doesn't fit how you work with your clients, tell us as we're collecting feedback on the experience.
