Ability for users to clear web chat session history

Currently - When a user returns to the web chat, their previous conversations are visible for a few weeks as the session is saved.
We’d like to give users the option to clear their chat history from web chat, so any other users on the same device cannot see the conversation.
Context: This is a VERY important client of us. They just picked up Ai Chat. Here is what the client said.

This is a current feature of our chat. Each customer’s conversation IS private and doesn’t accidentally carry over to the next visitor.

Vendasta Team Yes the clients concern is that the history should clear when the chat is closed. We understand it's unique to each user. But it is visible if users are using the same devise. Please reopen this post --- as we're asking that you develop an option for chat history to clear at the end of each session.

Hi Amber Bunnett, thanks for sharing this request! Conversation history is unique to each user, so while a returning user might see their own conversation history if they return to the site without clearing their cache, there should not be any carry over from one visitor to your client's jewelry site to another. If your client has experienced the latter, please do let us know.

In a jewellery business, it’s super important that each customer’s conversation is private and doesn’t accidentally carry over to the next visitor. What you’ll want to tell the company is that you need them to implement a session management feature. Basically, each new visitor should get a fresh session, and once a session ends (like when someone closes the browser or after a period of inactivity), the next visitor starts with a clean slate.
So you can tell them something like, “We need the AI to start a new session for every new visitor and not carry over any previous conversation history. That way, each customer has a private and secure interaction.” That should help them understand exactly what you’re looking for!
