Knowledge Source Expansion: Support for Automated E-shop Import (XML/CSV Feeds)
We propose expanding the options for populating the AI webchat knowledge base to include support for standard formats used for bulk data import from e-commerce platforms (e-shops). The Goal is to ensure that the AI chatbot always has access to current, accurate, and complete information regarding products, pricing, and inventory, with minimal need for manual maintenance from the client side. Proposed New Functionalities We request the implementation of the following options for connecting data as a knowledge source: Automated XML Feed Import: Mechanism: Ability to specify an external URL for downloading an XML feed (e.g., standards like Heureka, Zboží.cz, Google Shopping formats). Frequency: Setting up a schedule for regular updates (e.g., daily, every 6 hours). Purpose: Acquiring structured product data (price, availability, description, parameters). Automated CSV File Import: Mechanism: Option to define a URL for regular CSV file download, or the ability to upload it to a defined storage location. Mapping: A tool for mapping columns in the CSV file to attributes in the knowledge base. Purpose: Importing flexible datasets (e.g., specific service information, shipping details, or custom product catalogs). Benefits Improved Quality of AI Responses: Guarantees up-to-date data on pricing and stock levels. Scalability: Allows for easy management of large catalogs with thousands of items. Time Saving: Eliminates the need for manual work in inserting and updating product information.
