It would be a great enhancement if Social Marketing supported creating and publishing Facebook Events directly through the platform, similar to how Google Business Profile Events are handled. This feature would allow users to manage all event-related posts centrally without switching to Facebook's interface. Since the Official Events API allows event creation, this integration would save time and streamline workflows for agencies and businesses who regularly promote events. I would like to have a report that shows the overall performance of individual social media posts published via Social Marketing across all connected networks. Currently, I need to view analytics separately for each social platform, which is time-consuming and makes it hard to compare results. It would be very helpful to have an aggregated report or dashboard that allows me to see each post's total reach, engagement, and other key metrics across all channels in one place.

When I compose a post I would like to use Canva within SM for designing images which will expedite the content creation process.

This is one of the biggest things that clients complain about and is something that we have to explain to them. You really can't create stories in Social Marketing Pro. You can really only upload and post a story that you create somewhere else. The only advantage of doing this in Canva or wherever is that you can schedule them and not need access to Instagram accounts as a user. Story Image size is very specific 1080x1920. This really comes down to the editor functionality being able to perform more like Instagram or FB. Starting with a background that is sized properly and dropping an image on top of it. Still clients expect the to be able to Add Music, Text, Logos, Stickers and Effects. As an added bonus this would be even better if you could drop a logo file on top of a photo in a normal post and be able to brand it. Posting across multiple platforms is great but in 2024 Stories and Reels are very important to companies marketing strategy. What or is there a plan to update the editor functionality to accommodate this functionality that businesses want? I know that this has to be an issue for most partners and their clients.

When a social connection breaks or expire I would like to know about those failures even before my clients would know so that it gives a better experience for users and does not impact the trust with the partner or the product.

Meta best practices says put links in the comments not in the post. If we are posting about a deal or a blog and have to say link in the comments there's no way for me to actually put a link in the comments. This isn't achievable in Social Marketing right now. It's also not ideal that you can't view the comments or reactions in the "published" feed of posts. All you see is the number of each. Finally, super annoying that to access comments you have to go to Tools. The comments and ability to manage them should be served in context with the published posts UX. Right now it's disjointed & not a user intuitive experience.

When posting directly on Instagram, you can select the clip to show on the grid or add a completely new image to show on the grid.
